About The Position
Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives while providing care that makes a difference every day! Cross Country Education is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate, school-based care to students in Pembroke Pines, FL. Position Overview: Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students across school-based settings, responding to individual medical needs throughout the school day. Monitor students’ health conditions, administer medications and treatments as directed, and respond appropriately to changes in health status or medical needs. Support students with pediatric and pediatric diabetes care, while maintaining accurate documentation and following established care plans and safety protocols. Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed to promote student health, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification
- Successful completion of AHCA Level 2 background screening
- Valid Driver's License
- Pediatric and pediatric diabetes knowledge required
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing care to pediatric populations preferred
