Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts MD licensure
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
Nice To Haves
- MD / DO or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Availability by telephone for consultation.
- As requested, provide consultations for NEBH in patients with psychiatric needs.
- Attend patient care conferences when requested.
- Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested.
- Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7: 30 a.m. -6: 00 p.m.)
- Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule.
- Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel.
- When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation.
- 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
