Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with the ability to read and write English.
- Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy or health care environment setting
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA)
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with the New York State Education Department
- Must be self-started with ability to think independently in solving routine customer service issues.
- Must be able to distinguish patient names and other written words on a pharmacy medication label.
