About The Position

This is a part-time, per diem position for an Occupational Therapist working onsite at the UW Health Beaver Dam Clinic. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create evidence-based treatment plans, providing patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating clinical excellence. The position also requires a commitment to ongoing learning and active participation in program development and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree Preferred
• 2 years prior relevant experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and optimize discharge.
• Provide patient and family centered care in a fast paced, dynamic environment at a nationally recognized academic medical center.
• Demonstrate a high level of clinical excellence, autonomy, adaptability, and engagement.
• Commit to on-going learning to advance their clinical knowledge, skills, and abilities through peer mentorship, clinical education, and other learning opportunities.
• Take an active role in program development and quality improvement.
