Are you interested in psychiatric nursing and looking for an opportunity to work with adolescents and families? On a typical day working as the Per Diem Nurse, you will facilitate intake assessments, provide nursing consultation for clients, facilitate one group, and participate in end of day team debrief meetings. You will be responsible for completing documentation and incident reports. As the Nurse on our team, you act as a clinical role model and provide nursing consultation to staff within the assigned areas of responsibility. ABOUT STEP The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration and Progress) Program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca with locations in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Sonoma, and Solano county. STEP provides intensive, short-term stabilization services to youth, ages 12-17, for an average of 15 days. Our goal is to reintegrate our youth into schools and the community with lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment.
