About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse are the direct application of clinical expertise to study participants in the Neuroscience Clinical Research Unit. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse works collaboratively with the Medical Director of the NCRU, NCRU Nurse Manager, Principal Investigators, and research staff to conduct study procedures per protocol. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse has responsibility for maintaining quality of care standards for all procedures performed and for ensuring all clinical care meets regulatory standards for the patients participating in clinical trials. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse evidences self-direction, accountability, and an attention to detail. The incumbent shall provide nursing care under the direction of the Medical Director of Neuroscience Clinical Research Unit (NCRU) and Nurse Managers for shift duties. The Nurse shall function in accordance with standardized procedures and policies. Incumbent will perform other duties as needed.
