About The Position
As a Per-Diem Neurosurgeon with SAMGI, you will play a pivotal role in managing acute neurosurgical cases presenting to the emergency room or through the transfer center. This position does not involve trauma cases and focuses on providing consultative services to inpatients at the facility. Additionally, you will perform necessary operations in collaboration with our competent ED physicians, hospitalist team, and well-staffed ICU services.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurosurgery
- California Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication skills with high patient satisfaction scores
- Proven record of clinical excellence and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
Responsibilities
- Manage acute neurosurgical cases presenting to the emergency room or through the transfer center.
- Provide consultative services to inpatients at the facility.
- Perform necessary operations in collaboration with ED physicians, hospitalist team, and ICU services.
