About The Position
Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults through inpatient and outpatient programs. The center is committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education. Hampton is currently seeking a Per Diem Music, Recreation, or Art Therapist to provide direct patient care, including Creative Therapy group sessions and individual assessment sessions as ordered by a physician. The role involves completing Creative Therapy documentation, including assessments, group summaries, and billing within specified timeframes, and serving as a member of the treatment team. The therapist must understand and utilize principles of growth and development for adolescent patients and the age-specific needs of geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Music Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist
- Recreation Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
- Art Therapist: A Master’s Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist
- Weekend Required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred
Responsibilities
