The Per Diem Inpatient Clinical Dietitian (RD/LD) position at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center is responsible for providing inpatient nutrition care for patients. The RD/LD must be proficient in a wide range of clinical nutrition assessment and nutrition education for adults and children. This position will work a maximum of 19 hours per week. This position will be 100% onsite at the Medical Center campus. The Clinical Nutrition department at MD Anderson consists of registered dietitians that provide comprehensive nutrition care for our patients. Registered Dietitians (RDs) are experts in nutrition with extensive training. Our dietitians work with MD Anderson's medical teams to pinpoint opportunities for nutrition intervention or support. Our services include education, assessment, and counseling in: Cancer prevention, Nutrition intervention prior to, during and after treatment, Management of treatment side effects, Specialized diets, Management of specialized feeding regimens like tube feeds and IV parenteral nutrition.
