About The Position

One Medical is a primary care provider that aims to make quality healthcare more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. They are looking to hire a Per Diem Family Medicine Physician for their clinics in the Chicago suburbs. This role involves seeing patients across multiple office locations, handling a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits. The physician will provide care both in-office and through occasional telehealth visits, collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams. The position offers opportunities to utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023 and is focused on transforming healthcare and improving health outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois.
• The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
• Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or MedPeds.
• A passion for human-centered primary care
• The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
• The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
• An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
• The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
• Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients

Responsibilities

• Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
• Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
