About The Position

One Medical is a primary care solution that aims to make quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. They are transforming healthcare by improving the experience for patients, providers, employers, and health networks. Their services include in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. In February 2023, One Medical joined Amazon, with the goal of delivering exceptional healthcare to more people and achieving better health outcomes. This role is a 'Casual Employee' position, defined as per diem, an hourly clinician role, requiring 8-16 patient care hours per week. The role involves seeing patients with a broad array of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits, and is not a panel-building role. Providers will treat patients in-office and conduct occasional telehealth visits, collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams. The role offers opportunities to utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures. Additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care may be required.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
  • Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
  • Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or MedPeds.
  • A passion for human-centered primary care

Responsibilities

  • Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
  • Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
  • Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
