About The Position

Boost Home Healthcare – Greater Boston is a soon to be Medicare-certified, ACHC-accredited home health agency based in Brookline, MA. We're building our per diem therapy team and looking for a licensed COTA to support occupational therapy visits in the Brookline, Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Wellesley, Quincy, and Milton area — on your schedule, with no visit minimums and no large-agency red tape. If you're already working full-time or part-time and want supplemental home health visits that fit around your primary job, this is built for you. Note: compensation is paid per visit, not per hour. The rate shown at the bottom of this posting reflects a system default and does not accurately represent our per-visit structure. Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts COTA license (or OTA license) in good standing
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapist assistant program
  • NBCOT certification required (or eligibility)
  • 1+ year of home health or outpatient/rehab experience preferred; strong new grads considered
  • CPR/BLS certification (Healthcare Provider level)
  • Reliable transportation, valid MA driver's license, and current auto insurance
  • Available for at least 2–4 visits per week (flexible on timing)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions in the patient's home as delegated by and under the supervision of the supervising Occupational Therapist and plan of care
  • Assist patients with ADL retraining, functional mobility, adaptive equipment use, and home safety strategies
  • Complete visit documentation accurately and on time in compliance with Medicare, ACHC, and agency policies
  • Communicate patient progress, changes in status, and any clinical concerns to the supervising OT promptly
  • Participate in care coordination with the clinical team as needed
