About The Position

This role involves providing high-end customer service, responding to emergencies, deterring and preventing crime, and performing various security-related duties. The officer will be responsible for ingress/egress control, investigating incidents, completing reports, conducting patrols, and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Key aspects include de-escalating conflicts, monitoring CCTV, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Two years of face to face customer service experience
Possess at least one of the following experience / education criteria: 1.) Four years of armed security experience 2.) Three years of military experience 3.) Successful completion of a state or federal certified law enforcement training academy
Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient time management skills
Reliable transportation
Excellent de-escalation skills
Proficient firearms skills
Extensive use of force knowledge
Proactive problem solving skills
Must be able to obtain state required armed security officer license
Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
