ADDED DUTY CONTRACT: Pep Band
About The Position
This is a contract position for Pep Band, reporting to the Building Principal. The role serves as a liaison between coaches and the administration. Responsibilities include communicating with participants, parents, and administrators, setting a high code of conduct, following safety procedures, adhering to NSBSD and specific activity policies, annually reviewing handbooks, and ensuring student welfare is paramount. Mandatory trainings must be completed by the first contract day. Specific duties involve coordinating performance times/dates with the Principal for Spring & Fall performances (2 each) and submitting Activity Reports with photos. Compensation is per negotiated agreement and may be prorated based on meeting responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Ability to pass a background Check

Responsibilities

- Set an example through living by a high code of conduct.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Understand and adhere the NSBSD and any specific activity policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for the annual review of the Coaches’ and the Parent and Student Handbooks.
- Ensure student welfare is paramount in decision-making.
- Complete the Mandatory Trainings (Training Verification Check List Coaching and Activity Adviser Staff) on/or before the first contract day.
- Coordinate with Principal performance time(s)/date(s).
- Spring & Fall (2 performances)
- Turn in Activity Report, attach photos (if any).
