About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant in Oklahoma City, OK. The project is estimated to last 12+ months with possible extensions. The role is full-time, hybrid, requiring 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be available to work on-site at the Client’s site in Oklahoma City, OK. The consultant will participate as an FCoE Core Team member, taking support and lead roles in PeopleSoft Phase II module implementations across multiple state agencies. Responsibilities include providing functional and technical support, translating functional requirements into technical specifications, preparing test scenarios and documentation, identifying project risks, and delivering status reports and project documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, PUM 53
  • Experience with PeopleSoft modules including Grants, Project Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management
  • Experience with PeopleSoft technical tools including Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, and BI Publisher
  • Experience with PeopleSoft project implementations, including functional support and statewide configuration management
  • Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework, including maintenance and testing scripts
  • Experience with patch and fix testing, as well as Financials PUM Upgrade testing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with State of Oklahoma accounting procedures, policies, and standards
  • Experience with government or State of Oklahoma PeopleSoft implementations
  • Experience with current PeopleSoft PUM image

Responsibilities

  • Participate as an FCoE Core Team member, taking support and lead roles in PeopleSoft Phase II module implementations across multiple state agencies
  • Provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft modules in coordination with Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, and Oracle
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design workflows for Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense modules
  • Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, and configuration documentation as needed
  • Update manuals, job aids, SOPs, and other project documents throughout the engagement
  • Identify risks and obstacles within projects and provide thorough assessments to FCoE, IS, CAR, and OMES leadership
  • Deliver weekly status reports, project plans, fit/gap documentation, and test results in accordance with project timelines and state guidelines
