About The Position

PeopleSoft Senior Developer is a proactive coordinator within Information Systems and partners with PeopleSoft users, using a team approach to move Bayshore forward in meeting its business objectives through use of technology. This includes working on agreed priorities, following through all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Provides a comprehensive approach to implementation of related IS applications with emphasis on the betterment of client care, customer service, improved efficiency, improved quality, and optimal use of resources.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic, Tuxedo, JDK, Elastic Search
  • Must have recent Hands-On experience with PeopleTools, PeopleSoft HRMS upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of update/change assistant and hands on experience applying PeopleSoft maintenance and application/Tools upgrades and PUM.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Understanding in OS related activities like SFTP connectivity, support application specific tasks during OS/DB patching.
  • 10+ years of functional experience in PeopleSoft HCM v92
  • Extensive experience with two or more of the following Oracle/ PeopleSoft modules: Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Time Labor, Payroll for North America, Absence Management
  • Strong expertise in Payroll and Benefits module preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • University/Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Systems preferred
  • Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 (or higher) Enterprise – Experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Time Labor, Payroll for North America, Absence Management
  • Must possess superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Committed to learning new techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project type work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare system-related documentation, e.g., business requirements, fit/gap analysis, functional specifications, training materials, and user manuals.
  • Work with clients at all organizational levels to define business processes and provide advice on the use of PeopleSoft to support business requirements.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain all PeopleSoft application environments and accompanying Oracle databases in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Resolve application related vulnerability findings.
  • Assist application team with infrastructure requirements.
  • Implement, upgrade, or support PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 9.2 (or greater).
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application behaviors, including data related issues, to identify the root cause, document findings and propose recommendations on how to fix the issues, which includes workarounds when required.
  • Consult with staff and third-party vendor staff in the development of systems and procedures or in revising methods for obtaining and standardizing input and output data.
  • Test all systems and/or programs to ensure accuracy. Develop test data for all changes and reviews results with users and/or the Manager of Software and Business Applications. Recommend solutions to problems.
  • Collaborate with user groups to further develop solutions with a global proactive approach.
  • Identify needs, recommend, support and facilitate the implementation of related change to improve client care and branch operations in keeping with business objectives.
  • Ensure that system modules are developed, revised, thoroughly tested, and implemented in concurrence with user requirements.
  • Develop reports to be generated by the system as requested by the user areas, and duly approved following prescribed methodologies.
  • Achieve a smooth transfer to the customer for user acceptance testing inclusive of the user manuals. This includes the resolution of agreed upon problems.
  • Foster an interest in continuing education and facilitate self-directed learning by making information available to staff. Participate in activities to foster own professional development.
  • Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
