PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant
About The Position
Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant responsible for hands -on functional configuration and day -to -day production support for core HCM and Payroll operations in a Higher Education community college environment. This is a purely functional, onsite role with emphasis on payroll continuity, operational stability, and PUM upgrade support. The consultant will support and maintain PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting. Responsibilities include daily production support, hands -on configuration, payroll processing support, year -end payroll activities, audits, and commitment accounting validation. The role requires strong experience translating HR and payroll business needs into functional designs and specifications, leading functional testing for PUM releases, maintaining functional documentation, and supporting integration with Finance. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience, strong Higher Education exposure (California community college experience preferred), and the ability to work onsite in the Bay Area
