The interview process will explore foundational skills and AI collaboration, with an emphasis on explaining one's approach and thought process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Tech-savvy HR professional with 2+ years of HR Tech experience, including progressive experience with hands-on Workday configuration or 5+ years of people operations experience as a Workday end-user.
  • Experience delivering small to medium HRIS projects.
  • Strong background in report writing, security, issue resolution, and system management.
  • Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between processes, operations, systems, and solutions.
  • A superb communicator, who can translate business needs into technical and process solutions.
  • Passion for scaling operations, processes, and tools in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create close working relationships with business stakeholders within and outside of the People team to be their go-to technology analyst, acting as a close partner to advise them on evaluating and implementing solutions.
  • Evaluate existing technology and new requests, review them against the shared roadmap, and make recommendations about scope, timing, and solution scalability.
  • Manage all practical implementation tasks, including driving requirement definition, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation with project timelines.
  • Use AI tools to streamline daily support tasks in Workday and People systems, experimenting to identify where AI brings the most value, improving the quality and accuracy of ticket triage, data checks, and routine troubleshooting, and documenting effective prompts and process enhancements for team use.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to reporting, documentation, and workflow optimizations, validating outputs for accuracy and usefulness before broader adoption, and sharing new approaches or templates to enable successful practices to be scaled across the team.
  • Maintain good project hygiene practices across the portfolio of work, ensuring project plans, solution design, requirements, communications, and artifacts are accurate and organized.
  • Work with other internal stakeholders and IT teams to deliver enhancements, support annual processes, and implement new technology in support of Pinterest.
  • Partner closely with supporting analysts, providing direction and leading them through project delivery as the team grows.
