We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and versatile student to join our team. This unique role is designed to provide the incumbent with broad exposure to the inner workings of U.S. People Services, offering a well-rounded experience through active participation in HR advisory, operational efficiency, and complex problem resolution. What You Will Do In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience by contributing to four core areas of our HR operations: HR Advisory & Engagement : Act as a key resource for employees and managers by providing high-quality assistance and resolving various HR-related inquiries. You’ll use a diagnostic approach to understand needs and offer clear guidance on company policies and self-service resources. Complex Case Management : Get exposure to high-level HR matters by assisting in the resolution of complex employee issues. This includes conducting research, managing sensitive information with professionalism, and ensuring intricate inquiries are handled with accuracy and empathy. Operational Excellence : Contribute to identifying and recommending process improvements. You’ll actively participate in projects aimed at enhancing daily operations, improving the employee experience, and streamlining service delivery. Strategic Collaboration : Collaborate with various teams within U.S. People Services to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for all stakeholders. You’ll also share insights that help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, or a related area of study.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software or digital tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with a natural ability to demonstrate empathy and provide supportive guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a professional environment, retail, or a service-oriented role where problem-solving was a key focus.
  • A genuine interest in exploring different pillars of Human Resources, such as Talent, Benefits, Payroll, or Employee Relations.
  • Familiarity with (or interest in learning) HR platforms like Workday or ServiceNow.
  • A desire to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, high-energy team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (written and oral) is a plus but not required.
