About The Position

Tekmetric is seeking a People Partner who is energized by developing leaders and building high-performing teams. This role is not a traditional HRBP position, as specialists handle compliance, benefits, and compensation. The focus is on making leaders and teams better by embedding within the business and acting as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of measurably improving leaders and an instinct for anticipating people and organizational issues. The role reports to the Director of People and operates as a senior individual contributor embedded in the business.

Requirements

  • Strong talent assessment instincts, with measurable outcomes in leadership growth, retention, and team effectiveness.
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with steadiness, sound judgment, and integrity.
  • Communicate with both directness and empathy, adapt style to the audience, and build trust quickly across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a bias for action.
  • Bring structure and process where needed to unlock scale, clarity, and stronger execution.
  • Exceptional collaborator across the People team and business functions.
  • Strong orientation toward leveraging AI and technology to improve decision-making, workflows, and organizational effectiveness.
  • 6–8+ years in a strategic talent role within a high-growth or technology environment.
  • Proven experience partnering with revenue and/or customer teams in a SaaS context.
  • Experience owning senior stakeholder relationships across a meaningful business segment and ability to speak clearly to the impact driven.
  • Ability to develop leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and make the people around you better.

Nice To Haves

  • Backgrounds outside of traditional HR, such as sales enablement, talent management, organizational development, executive coaching, or strategic leadership roles where developing others was central.

  • Coach leaders through performance, conduct, development, and retention decisions while strengthening leadership capability across the organization.
  • Drive performance management, calibration, succession planning, and talent development initiatives, including identifying emerging leaders and building intentional paths toward management readiness.
  • Use engagement data, attrition signals, and pattern recognition to identify team health issues and performance gaps, then present leaders with a point of view.
  • Coach leaders to address people's issues early and decisively.
  • Work closely with TA, L&D, and Total Rewards on hiring strategy, onboarding, workforce planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
