About The Position

We are looking for a People Partner to join our HR team. You'll be responsible for supporting employees throughout every stage of their journey at Plata — from onboarding and relocation to performance reviews, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives. In this role, you will become a trusted partner for employees, ensuring they receive timely support, clear communication, and a seamless HR experience. You will work closely with Payroll, Immigration, managers, and other internal stakeholders to improve employee experience, coordinate key HR processes, and contribute to the development of our people practices as the company continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or People Partner
  • Experience managing onboarding and employee adaptation processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine people-first mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting employees
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with HR data and reporting
  • B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Customer Care / Contact Center / Customer Service
  • Experience developing internal products (Telesales, Collections, Delivery, etc.)
  • Experience in fintech products

Responsibilities

  • Supporting employees throughout their lifecycle at the company and serving as the primary HR contact for day-to-day questions and requests
  • Leading onboarding and adaptation processes to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience
  • Coordinating relocation processes and working closely with immigration and payroll providers
  • Building strong relationships with employees through regular communication, one-on-one meetings, and proactive issue resolution
  • Preparing internal communications, guidelines, knowledge base articles, and other employee-facing materials
  • Participating in key People initiatives, including engagement surveys, learning and development programs, corporate events, and employee experience projects
  • Supporting performance review cycles and other core HR processes
  • Maintaining HR documentation, reporting, and ensuring data accuracy across People processes
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and internal HR processes
