About The Position

The People Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and teammates, helping drive a high-performance culture while ensuring a positive team member experience. This role partners closely with supervisors, managers, directors, and business leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, engagement, workforce planning, and compliance. The People Partner plays a critical role in supporting business results by helping leaders effectively manage and develop their teams, navigate complex people matters, and implement people strategies that align with organizational objectives. Through strong partnership, coaching, and data-driven decision making, the People Partner contributes to improved teammate engagement, retention, leader effectiveness, and overall organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience handling employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Experience supporting leaders in a multi-site or remote environment.
  • Experience with organizational change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary People Team partner for assigned business units and operational leaders.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and provide guidance on people-related matters.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, accountability, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with leaders to address employee relations concerns, workplace conflicts, attendance issues, and conduct matters.
  • Conduct investigations and fact-finding activities related to employee relations concerns and policy violations.
  • Facilitate corrective action processes and provide guidance on documentation and performance expectations.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and help leaders navigate change effectively.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders on staffing and talent needs as necessary.
  • Drive teammate engagement initiatives and support retention strategies.
  • Interpret and apply company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to employee relations, performance management, and compliance activities.
  • Create and maintain leader resources, job aids, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Contribute to People Team projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
