People Operations Specialist

CoreWeave•Dallas, TX
•$98,000 - $130,000

About The Position

CoreWeave is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own the global People service queue and the lifecycle transactions behind it. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee Lifecycle, this role triages and resolves employee and manager requests across North America, EMEA, and APAC; executes lifecycle transactions in Workday; and coordinates with People Business Partners, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Legal to provide timely, clear answers. This is a hands-on, high-volume role. The specialist resolves requests directly when possible, routes other matters with sufficient context, and improves knowledge base articles, templates, and workflows to address recurring requests. The role also helps contractors and new team members ramp up on queue work as the function scales. Success means employees and managers receive accurate answers without repeating themselves; requests are triaged and routed within SLA across regions; Workday records and audit trails are accurate; repeat questions decline; queue health is monitored and acted on; and new team members receive consistent guidance.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or an HR service center; multi-country workforce support is ideal.
  • Experience working a ticket queue in ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or a similar tool, and managing requests to SLAs.
  • Working knowledge of HR fundamentals, including common policies, leave types, employment verifications, and onboarding and offboarding steps.
  • Awareness that HR requirements vary by country and sound judgment about when to escalate.
  • Workday HCM experience executing lifecycle transactions, with a high standard for data accuracy.
  • Clear written communication skills, including the ability to turn policies into concise, useful answers and set expectations when requests need more time.
  • Comfort working asynchronously across time zones, with flexibility to adjust hours periodically to support EMEA and APAC coverage.
  • Discretion and judgment when handling confidential employee information.
  • Organization and follow-through across a high volume of requests.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting employees in EMEA and/or APAC, including through EOR providers.
  • Experience writing or maintaining knowledge base articles, FAQs, or response templates.
  • Experience in a SOX-controlled or public-company environment.
  • Exposure to federal contractor or FedRAMP environments, including E-Verify processing and federal recordkeeping requirements.
  • Familiarity with data privacy requirements such as GDPR.
  • Background in a high-growth technology or AI-native company.
  • Active use of AI tools in day-to-day People Operations work.
  • Additional language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day triage of the global People service queue by reviewing, categorizing, prioritizing, and routing requests from North America, EMEA, and APAC within SLA.
  • Resolve Tier 1 inquiries, including policy questions, employment verifications, Workday navigation, leave and benefits basics, and general how-to requests.
  • Escalate Tier 2, country-specific, and sensitive matters to the appropriate People Business Partner, Payroll, Total Rewards, Legal, or EOR partner, providing enough context to avoid requiring employees to repeat themselves.
  • Apply appropriate regional guidance when country policies and processes differ, or route requests accordingly.
  • Close the loop with employees and managers on every request.
  • Execute onboarding, offboarding, job, and data-change lifecycle transactions in Workday using documented processes and controls.
  • Maintain an audit trail for every change and keep ticket and Workday records accurate and current.
  • Coordinate with regional Payroll teams and vendors on requests affecting pay, ensuring clear handoffs and on-time processing across pay cycles and time zones.
  • Write and maintain queue knowledge base articles and response templates, and retire outdated content.
  • Track queue health by region, including volume, response time, resolution time, and employee satisfaction, and report trends to the team.
  • Propose and implement improvements for recurring issues, including intake changes, workflow updates, and automation.
  • Train and support contractors and new team members working the queue.
