About The Position

The People Operations Specialist will be the initial point of contact providing HR support across the organization. This position will be accountable for delivering timely, accurate, and customer‑focused service to employees and managers. This role supports core HR operations across the employee lifecycle, maintains HR data integrity, and contributes to continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery in a fast‑paced, growing organization. The People Operations Specialist will play an important part in delivering an Efficient, Effective, and Exceptional Experience! This is a hybrid position and will primarily be based in Cambridge, MA.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in human resources or people operations focused role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
  • Hands on experience with an HRIS or core case management system.
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple, concurrent priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR operations in a large or multinational organization preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end resolution of employee and manager HR inquiries through the HR service platform, resolving routine issues and escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, job changes, leaves, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HR system and support data integrity and compliance audits.
  • Identify and analyze trends in HR inquiries and transactions to support process improvements and enhanced service delivery.
  • Support reporting, dashboards, and metrics for HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders.
