Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience supporting recruiting and employee relations activities.
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions, partnering with leaders to attract and hire top talent.
  • Build and maintain strong staffing agency partnerships and talent pipelines.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and keep stakeholders informed throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruiting performance metrics and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with leaders to navigate employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Conduct investigations, provide recommendations, and help resolve workplace concerns.
  • Identify trends and root causes while implementing proactive solutions that improve employee experience and reduce recurring issues.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, accountability, communication, and team effectiveness.
  • Lead the interactive process for reasonable accommodation requests, partnering with employees, leaders, and external resources to identify effective solutions that support both employee needs and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on accommodations, leave administration, and other sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring consistent application of policies and compliance with applicable employment laws.
  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience that helps new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and successful.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Safety, and operational leaders to ensure employees have the tools and support they need from day one.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, and retention initiatives.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, performance activities, and separations.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and HR records.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and California employment laws.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
