You will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one shared goal: “Get quality and secure solutions in the customers’ hands as soon as possible.” We are seeking a proactive and people-focused People Operations Intern to support Sabel’s Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions. This internship is ideal for students interested in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Business Administration who want hands-on exposure to people operations within a government contracting environment. You’ll work closely with HR and TA professionals, supporting initiatives that enhance the employee experience while ensuring compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. This role is not eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), or other student visa-based work authorizations
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your junior or senior year, in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in Talent Acquisition, HR operations, or employee engagement
  • Exposure to HRIS or ATS platforms through coursework or prior experience
  • Interest in compliance, policy development, or workforce planning

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day People Operations and HR administrative activities.
  • Support Talent Acquisition efforts, including interview coordination, candidate communications, and onboarding preparation.
  • Help maintain employee records and documentation in HR systems.
  • Assist with data tracking and reporting related to recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, training, and internal communications.
  • Learn and support compliance-related processes (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, internal policy adherence).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a positive employee experience.
