About The Position

The People Operations & HR Liaison serves as the primary point of contact between ClearBalance employees and our Professional Employer Organization (PEO). This role ensures employees get timely support on HR-related matters while keeping internal operations organized and compliant. This is a hands-on role that blends employee support with administrative execution. You’ll keep things moving, solve problems, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR coordination, office management, or administrative operations
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through without constant direction
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information
  • A “get it done” mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or alongside a PEO strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for employees on HR-related questions (benefits, payroll, onboarding, policies, etc.)
  • Act as the liaison with our PEO partner to resolve employee issues and ensure timely follow-up
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination with the PEO
  • Help communicate HR updates, benefits information, and policy changes to employees
  • Track and assist with employee documentation and compliance requirements
  • Serve as the internal coordinator for employee leave requests, including FMLA and other protected or company-approved leaves
  • Partner with the PEO to administer leave programs in compliance with applicable laws and policies
  • Guide employees through the leave process, including required documentation and timelines
  • Track leave status and ensure proper communication between employees, managers, and the PEO
  • Help ensure accurate coordination of leave with payroll and benefits
  • Maintain organized and accurate employee records and documentation
  • Assist leadership with HR-related coordination and follow-ups
  • Support basic reporting and tracking related to headcount, onboarding, and employee changes
  • Help ensure a smooth and professional employee experience across all touchpoints
  • Retrieve and manage incoming mail (including PO box), scan and route documents appropriately
  • Triage physical and digital correspondence to the correct internal teams
  • Maintain document organization and filing systems (physical and electronic)
  • Support light office management needs to keep day-to-day operations running efficiently
