Requirements

1–2+ years of experience in human resources, benefits, payroll, administration, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate information and records.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
Ability to handle confidential employee and business information with discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the People Operations team and other departments.
Ability to follow established procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to work onsite in West Chester, PA.

Nice To Haves

Experience with UKG Pro, UltiPro, or another HRIS platform.
Experience supporting employee benefits, payroll, timekeeping, or HR administration.
Experience working with employee data, HR reports, or other administrative reporting.
Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or other regulated work environment.
Familiarity with employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.
Experience working with electronic personnel records and document-control processes.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, sort and filter data, and perform basic calculations.
Experience supporting process improvements or helping to develop and maintain administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

Support current employees with routine People Operations questions and administrative needs.
Maintain and update employee information and personnel transactions in UKG.
Process approved employee changes, including status, compensation, promotions, transfers, and shift schedules.
Provide administrative support for employee benefits, including enrollments, life event changes, deductions, and annual open enrollment.
Assist with day-to-day administration of the company’s 401(k) program and Alerus portal.
Support payroll preparation by reviewing employee changes, timekeeping, PTO, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related information.
Prepare routine reports and assist with reviewing payroll, benefits, and employee data for accuracy.
Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records and People Operations files.
Support document control, SOPs, forms, and other People Operations documentation within the company’s Quality Management System.
Assist with People Operations invoices, records, audits, and other routine administrative activities.
Work closely with the People Operations Manager and other team members to complete department projects and provide responsive support to employees.
Be a dependable resource for employees and help create a positive employee experience.
Help ensure People Operations processes are consistent, accurate, and well organized.
Build trust by handling employee and business information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Help the People Operations team stay organized and responsive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Contribute to accurate information and reliable processes that support employees, payroll, benefits, and the business.
Help maintain the documentation and processes needed to support a regulated, quality-focused organization.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and make routine People Operations activities more efficient.
Work collaboratively with the People Operations team and other departments to help keep the employee experience running smoothly.
