About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-first People Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our People Team. This role plays a critical part in delivering a positive employee experience by ensuring People processes are accurate, compliant, well-documented, and scalable. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a service-oriented mindset. They operate with professionalism and empathy while managing sensitive information, supporting employee programs, maintaining HR systems, and partnering with senior team members to improve People Operations through process optimization and thoughtful use of technology. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort handling employee inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Foundational knowledge of HR compliance concepts
  • Interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve People Operations processes

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Workday and Excel preferred (experience with AI tools a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee People Operations inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic support that reinforces a positive employee experience.
  • Supports onboarding activities, including I-9 completion and maintaining onboarding platforms, ensuring new hires are set up efficiently and compliantly from day one.
  • Assists with benefits administration, wellness programs, and annual benefits cycles by accurately processing enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
  • Maintains confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information, ensuring trust and compliance across all People Operations activities.
  • Triages employee inquiries and independently routes or escalates issues to appropriate People Team members or partners as needed.
  • Acts as a reliable point of contact for leave-of-absence questions, maintaining internal leave tracking logs and coordinating with external leave administrators.
  • Performs regular global data audits and supports updates in Workday to ensure People data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems.
  • Keeps People Operations documentation, SOPs, policies, and handbooks current, organized, and accessible, including maintaining People content on the company intranet.
  • Supports HR compliance efforts by assisting with labor law poster management, required federal and state reporting, and tracking deadlines through compliance calendars.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within People Operations workflows, such as knowledge management or document organization.
  • Assists in testing, documenting, and implementing AI-enabled or technology-supported process improvements in partnership with senior team members.
  • Contributes ideas for continuous improvement across People Team operations, including scheduling, coordination of people programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
