About The Position

The People Experience Lead (PEL) is a self-motivated individual who is actively engaged with people and demonstrates care, respect, and passion for restaurant crew, managers, and guests. This role provides supervision, audit, innovation, and oversight across all of the organization’s restaurants. The PEL will partner and execute work alongside the General Manager, Owner Operator, and Director of Operations to build a high-performing team culture. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with peers and leadership are critical. Principal accountabilities will vary depending on the needs of the restaurant(s). A requirement for this position is prior McDonald's Experience, as it entails training and developing crew and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a restaurant or organization-specific human resources strategy and related plan that supports the business growth and evolution.
  • Stay current on best practices and trends related to human resources and implement them into work assignments.
  • Consult with restaurant leadership in change management to achieve organizational human resource strategies and goals.
  • Utilize McHire and/or application tracking systems to manage the hiring process.
  • Track and analyze people data metrics to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Support management teams with staffing needs.
  • Prepare for annual people brand standards reviews.
  • Oversee and coordinate forward-looking hiring to ensure a healthy talent pipeline.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the organization’s training and development tools.
  • Serve as the organizational lead for the development of crew and managers.
  • Track the development and class attendance of all employees.
  • Supply resources to strengthen restaurant training for crew and managers.
  • Support restaurants through audit, analysis, and coaching.
  • Work with restaurant leadership to elevate priority restaurant performance to meet business plans and improve guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Support in the completion of operations assessments.
  • Support restaurant leadership in the completion of action plans and performance improvements.
