About The Position

The People Data Analyst collaborates with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to support the administration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of the organization’s HR technology, reporting, and workforce analytics environment. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, reporting accuracy, and actionable workforce insights through the support of HCM implementations and system enhancements. This position will develop dashboards and analytics, automate reporting processes, and leverage workforce data to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Human Resources, or a related quantitative field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, people analytics, workforce analytics, applied research, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning, hypothesis testing, survey methodology, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language such as Python or R.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools to develop dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex datasets and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of workforce analytics, organizational research methods, employee lifecycle metrics, and talent management concepts preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to independently manage complex projects and priorities.
  • Understanding of data governance, data privacy, responsible AI practices, and bias mitigation principles.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support Human Capital Management (HCM) system implementations, enhancements, integrations, testing, and post-production optimization across core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, and Workforce Management functions.
  • Serve as the functional and technical HRIS subject matter expert, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize HR technology solutions and business processes.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors to gather business requirements, redesign workflows, and implement scalable people systems solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Configure and maintain HRIS workflows, security roles, business processes, reporting structures, and system controls to improve operational efficiency and data integrity.
  • Manage HR data governance practices, including audits, data validation, compliance monitoring, and maintenance of structured and unstructured workforce data from multiple sources.
  • Develop workforce analytics, predictive models, and statistical analyses to identify trends related to retention, turnover, recruiting, labor costs, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Apply data science methodologies, machine learning techniques, forecasting models, and exploration data analysis to generate actionable business insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions using business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Create automated reporting and data pipeline solutions that improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual effort, and support enterprise-wide people analytics initiatives.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis on large, high-dimensional datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement across HR operations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to translate analytical findings and prototypes into scalable HR technology solutions and operational improvements.
  • Support system implementation lifecycle activities including gathering requirements, testing, training, documentation, deployment, change management, and user adoption.
