People & Culture Partner (Part Time)

ImaginationNew York, NY
$72,000 - $90,000Hybrid

About The Position

We're hiring a part-time People & Culture (P&C) Partner to own the full employee lifecycle — from first candidate touchpoint through offboarding — for our New York and Detroit studios, and Investor Communications business based in our New York studio. This is a standalone, senior HR generalist / HR Business Partner role: you'll be the sole dedicated People & Culture presence supporting both locations, working directly with the Executive Director and people managers across the business. This is a high-autonomy, high-visibility role suited to an experienced HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or People Partner who wants full ownership of talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, Learning & Development, and HR operations — not a narrow slice of the function. The compensation listed reflects the full-time equivalent salary and will be prorated based on a 3-day-per-week part-time work schedule. You'll have full ownership of the People & Culture function for two offices — real autonomy, direct executive access, and the chance to shape policy, process and culture, rather than execute someone else's playbook. This is a role for someone who wants strategic scope and hands-on delivery in equal measure.

  • Experience managing employee relations cases and workplace investigations independently
  • Familiarity with GDPR, data protection principles, and HR compliance frameworks
  • Experience with HR systems such as an ATS, background screening tools , compliance training platforms, and L&D/performance frameworks
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner directly with senior leadership.
