About The Position

The People Acquisition Partner will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for the credit union. This role will collaborate closely with hiring leaders and PXT to execute strategies to attract passive and active candidates, facilitate interviews, conduct background screening, make job offers, attend careers fairs, and assist with onboarding. This role requires the ability to foster a strong relationship with both candidates and internal stakeholders. The role involves traditional and innovative sourcing methods, maintaining accurate records, and continuously improving the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork as well as work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness or failure of the recruitment system from position opening to onboarding
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

Nice To Haves

  • A four year college degree preferred or equivalent experience and/or education.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SHRM-CP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the full cycle recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening candidates, networking events, conducting background checks, and facilitating 1st day onboarding.
  • Identifies, attracts, and engages diverse candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Ensures all new hire documentation is complete and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Sources candidates through numerous avenues, including professional organizations, career fairs, company website, external career sites, employees, social networking, etc.
  • Creates and networks within the industry, social media, and employees to build candidate pools and pipelines.
  • Provides guidance and support to hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process, including best practices for interviewing, understanding their staffing needs, candidate assessment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Trains leaders and employees on talent acquisition processes and best practices.
  • Assists with developing and delivering training materials and sessions to ensure a consistent and effective recruiting process.
  • Maintains and regularly audits position management and ATS within HRIS for accuracy and consistency, making updates as necessary.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, salary surveys/benchmarks, and competitor insights to inform recruitment strategies and maintain a competitive advantage in attracting top talent.
  • Responsible for salary surveys and market analysis completion.
  • Performs specialized or confidential administrative duties, including but not limited to completing I-9 forms, E-Verify reporting, EEO-1 reporting, Affirmative Action reporting, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Assists with ordering and maintaining stock of CapEd gear, CapEd merchandise for new hires and employee's annual merchandise orders, ordering office supplies and employee name tags.
  • Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, and promotions.
