ExtensisHR, a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join its elite Sales Team in the New York/New Jersey Area. This role focuses on driving new business and building lasting client relationships within a high-growth market. The company offers comprehensive HR solutions including HR, employee benefits, payroll and taxes, employer risk, compliance, and employee management. ExtensisHR manages over $3 billion in employment-related costs annually and is experiencing significant growth.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of strategic sales experience.
  • Successfully networking and managing a referral-based channel sales role.
  • Demonstrated business maturity.
  • Effectively communicate and relate to business owners.
  • Strong business network with success selling value-added services to senior-level executives in the Northeast.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.

  • Collaborate well with others at ExtensisHR such as Solutions Consultant, Proposal Manager, HR Manager and other subject matter experts

Responsibilities

  • Sell and market Extensis’ services to small and mid-sized businesses through the Insurance Agent and Broker Channel, targeting specific industry segments.
  • Maintain a high level of networking and broker channel development to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Manage the sales process and client relationships from prospect to client status.
  • Communicate and coordinate contract requirements for seamless execution upon client signing.
  • Brand and maximize Extensis’ reputation as the premiere broker channel-based sales organization in the PEO industry.
  • Source, qualify, and build relationships with benefit brokers.
  • Educate, engage, and generate sales opportunities from benefit brokers.
  • Develop and cultivate a strong business network with health insurance brokers, agencies, and centers of influence within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to implement strategic sales and networking techniques.
  • Work effectively with sales operations to complete submissions and proposals.
  • Manage the transition of clients to the client Activation team upon successful completion of sales.
