About The Position

The purpose of the role is to identify potential vulnerabilities within the bank's IT systems using penetration testing tools and techniques to ensure the security of computer systems, applications, servers, and networks. This involves developing and executing assessments, audits, and threat models, collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to identify emerging cyber-attack techniques, and developing and maintaining comprehensive reports on penetration test findings and remediation guidance. The role also involves understanding security requirements and controls in business processes and applications to enhance the overall security posture and assurance, and identifying emerging vulnerabilities and exploit codes to develop testing methodologies.

Requirements

Minimum Salary: $168,500.00 per year
Maximum Salary: $170,000.00 per year
Scope and execute penetration tests and code review against a variety of technologies including web application, mobile, infrastructure, and cloud.
Work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders to deliver high quality penetration tests.
Collaborate with global team and external entities to deliver Security Assurance Services.
Analyse and review security issues identified.
Supplement automated assessment techniques with manual security assessment approaches.
Communicate security issues identified and mitigation/remediation options to development community.
Research new and emerging threats, counter controls and technologies affecting various platforms.
Build upon the existing service request model, processes and supporting technologies.
Provide reports which highlight and clearly articulate vulnerabilities and weaknesses to clients in terms they understand.
Contribute both on an individual assessment basis as well as a global strategic basis to raise the security posture across the organisation.
Work within virtual teams of security and technical specialists to ensure quality delivery of leading security assurance services to our internal clients.
Innovate towards the goal of establishing novel security assurance services and the enhancement of existing services.

Responsibilities

Development and execution of assessments, audits, and threat models to identify vulnerabilities within the banks systems, applications and servers using penetration tools and techniques, and communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams to identify emerging cyber-attack techniques, tools and technologies and to support the development of penetration testing methodologies.
Development and maintenance of comprehensive documents and reports for senior stakeholders on penetration test findings, and remediation guidance.
Collaboration with stakeholders to understand their security requirements and controls in business processes, application/services, to enhance overall security posture and assurance.
