About The Position

The fundamental reason this position exists is to perform functions necessary to operate pencil equipment to fulfill customer orders. This position could operate pencil machines for printed pencils or plain pencils as needed per customer orders. This position may also shift into other positions as needed according to customer demand by resource.

Requirements

• Able to distinguish colors as shown in a Pantone Color Match Guide
• Ability to effectively manage time and resources in an organized manner
• Ability to read and understand requirements for customer work orders
• Must have reliable transportation
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to understand basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Operate pencil equipment to meet customer demand and production goals
• Properly record production/order fulfillment in our operating database
• Communicate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to maintain equipment efficiencies
• Uphold established quality standards for printed products
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work safely upholding our company PPE and Safety requirements (Ex. Safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes where needed, gloves, labeling secondary containers, etc.…) Report safety concerns to management, including any guarding that has become compromised.
