Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Requires 3 months to 1-year industrial experience.
- Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Advanced knowledge and use of basic quality inspection equipment including calipers, protractors, and micrometers.
- Ability to follow instructions, read, and write.
Responsibilities
- Operates pemserter machine, installing various types of hardware into metal parts.
- Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Using traveler and blueprint determines locations on part which require hardware to be installed, including type of hardware needed.
- Receives hardware needed for the job from Materials Attendant.
- Installs hardware on first piece and takes it to inspection or certified operator for a 1st piece approval.
- After first piece approval, change hardware if necessary and run job.
- Fills out all required production paperwork and records.
- Maintains work area in clean and safe condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
