About The Position

Core Functions:

Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to
produce accurate designs and estimates.
Develop and maintain detailed cut lists, bills of materials, construction
details, and project drawings.
Provide sales teams with precise cost estimates and supporting documentation
to fulfill customer requests.
Ensure all project deliverables meet established accuracy, quality, and
timeliness standards.
Learn and apply required software systems to complete estimating tasks.
Enter designs and building scope into MBS (Metal Building Software) to
develop pricing and drawings for PEMB and Self Storage building quotes.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external customers
while upholding company values and professionalism.
Prepare and deliver project updates, progress reports, and analysis as
requested

Performs other duties and activities related to the department as necessary to
support overall operations and responsibilities, even if not specifically listed
above.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience estimating PEMB and/or Self Storage.
• 5 years’ experience using MBS software.
• Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in structural design
• Vocational or technical degree in construction technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials, with experience in building systems or pre-engineered metal buildings.
