About The Position

Fusion Wellness & Femina Physical Therapy is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join their growing team in Sherman Oaks & Beverly Hills. They are a leading, cash-based practice in Los Angeles offering cutting-edge, integrative care in pelvic health and orthopedics. The role involves performing detailed, compassionate assessments tailored to pelvic health concerns across all genders and life stages, designing and delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, and educating patients on pelvic floor function, recovery, and self-care strategies. The position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare professionals, ongoing professional development, community wellness initiatives, and clinical mentorship opportunities. The practice is mission-driven, offering grant-funded care to remove financial barriers to pelvic health access, and prioritizes mentorship and growth for its staff. They foster an inclusive, affirming, diverse, and trauma-informed culture, valuing clinician autonomy and deep patient connections.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT) in the state of California.
  • Strong background in pelvic health and/or orthopedics; minimum 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Specialized certification in pelvic floor rehab (e.g., Herman & Wallace, APTA CAPP-Pelvic, WCS).
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
  • Passion for education, both in the clinic and the wider community.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications highly valued, such as OCS, CYT, CSCS, certified pilates instructor, ATC, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed, compassionate assessments tailored to pelvic health concerns across all genders and life stages.
  • Design and deliver personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that empower patients to achieve long-term wellness.
  • Educate and support patients in understanding pelvic floor function, recovery, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team that includes massage therapists, trauma-informed mental health providers, certified Pilates instructors, and community care partners such as acupuncturists, midwives, naturopaths, and surgeons.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, community wellness initiatives, and clinical mentorship opportunities.
