About The Position

Myo is establishing a new clinic in Manhattan Beach in Fall 2026 and is seeking to build its founding team. This is an opportunity to be part of the initial group of clinicians who will define the clinical standards, shape the culture, and introduce the Myo experience to the community. As a founding clinician, you will be instrumental in setting up the clinical standards, client experience, and team culture at the new Los Angeles clinic. The clinic will cater to a diverse clientele including surfers, runners, athletes, professionals, and families who are focused on movement, performance, longevity, and proactive healthcare. Myo offers a modern approach to physical therapy, aiming to enhance 'body IQ' by improving movement, body awareness, and promoting proactive health through its 5-phase FutureProof Framework: Decrease Pain, Align & Repair, Learn How to Move, Build Strength, and Move With Purpose. The model emphasizes that pain relief is just the first step, with the ultimate goal of achieving lasting functional change and providing clinicians with a clear framework for confident and purposeful care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality assessment, hands-on care, and movement-based treatment.
  • Interest in working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional, clinical, and business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and teammates.

Nice To Haves

  • Pelvic Health/Pelvic Floor specialization through clinical experience, residency, continuing education, or board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the clinical standard, client experience, and team culture at the newest Los Angeles clinic.
  • Play a key role in defining the standard, shaping the culture, and introducing the Myo experience from day one.
  • Treat fewer than 8 clients per day in a true one-on-one care model.
  • Work with engaged clients focused on movement, performance, and proactive care.
  • Practice in a collaborative clinical environment with ongoing case discussions and peer learning.
  • Own your caseload through proactive communication, follow-up, and accountability to client outcomes and clinic growth.
  • Take initiative in supporting community engagement, referral relationships, and raising the standard of care.
  • Bring curiosity, professionalism, and a growth mindset to mentorship, feedback, and continued development.
