The Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) role within the Center of Excellence (COE) adds hands-on technical design, reusable component creation, platform standard enforcement, complex problem resolution, guidance and support for enterprise development teams, code and design reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance enterprise-wide digital transformation and application delivery. Senior Pega CSSA with strong technical implementation skills, framework governance experience, and cross-functional team collaboration. Creates and leads the technical design, configuration, and implementation of core Pega platform services, enterprise reusable assets, shared frameworks, and foundational enterprise integrations. Proposes & designs scalable software solutions to address complex enterprise-wide needs. Prepares technical guidelines, coding standards, and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution across distributed enterprise applications, database interactions, and service layers. Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and support to project delivery teams. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation to ensure strict adherence to Pega Guardrails and COE standards. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance platform capabilities, automation efficiency, and system performance. Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align internal client needs, developer experience, and system satisfaction as primary considerations in all architectural decisions, leveraging that information to build robust platform services. Managing risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with enterprise software deployment, security compliance, and platform scaling to ensure they adhere to and support the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
