We are seeking a skilled Pega Administrator with strong OpenShift container platform experience and a solid background in database administration and integration to support the design, development, deployment, and production stabilization of enterprise-grade Pega applications. The ideal candidate combines Pega Platform configuration skills with practical, hands-on database exposure including schema/DDL work, performance tuning, and troubleshooting database connectivity in containerized environments to ensure resilient, well-integrated Pega solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Pega Administration/System Architect experience (CSA/CSSA certification preferred)
Strong expertise managing Pega on Red Hat OpenShift, with solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets)
Demonstrated, verifiable database exposure, proficiency writing queries and troubleshooting on Oracle
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or similar) and container image/deployment automation
Experience with monitoring/observability tooling such as Splunk and/or Dynatrace, including incident triage and root-cause analysis
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to engage stakeholders across development, DBA, and business teams

Nice To Haves

Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control systems (Git)
Prior experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries

Responsibilities

Provide production support including complex problem research, root-cause analysis, and issue triage; implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Splunk and Dynatrace
Manage Pega applications on Red Hat OpenShift, including Kubernetes concepts such as pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, and secrets
Optimize containerized Pega workloads for performance, scalability, and resilience; troubleshoot container, pod, and cluster-level issues impacting Pega services
Work closely with platform engineering teams to align with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Ansible), container standards, and cloud governance
Write queries and perform hands-on data work directly against Oracle to support case processing, reporting, and reconciliation needs
Respond to audit findings, back audits, and ad-hoc business/data requests tied to application health and stability
Contribute to automation of build, deployment, and testing processes, and communicate effectively with global, cross functional teams
