About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Pega - Lead System Architect for a 12-month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role involves providing L3 support, specifically debugging and maintaining production applications built on the Pega 8.x platform. The position is part of the L3 support team and will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, deployment, debugging, and production support. The role requires a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, the ability to develop SPLUNK dashboards, write utilities in Python, and experience with relational databases and web technologies.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on AML policy and standards experience
  • ACAMS certification
  • Expert knowledge of SPLUNK search processing language (SPL)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence; must be able to appropriately convey ideas, concerns and opinions across differing levels of organization and build relationships
  • Proactive and self-motivated and ability to manage competing priorities; make timely and fact-based decisions
  • Highly organized and demonstrate a bias for action and a commitment to achieving sustainable results

  • Advanced understanding of Pega 8.x, preferably hold PEGA System Architect Certification
  • Advanced SPLUNK SPL Skills to develop actionable insights into production logs

Responsibilities

  • Work on debugging, developing and maintaining applications built on the Pega 8.x platform
  • Write code in Python to develop and support utilities
  • Test and debug the applications
  • Deploy applications on the servers
  • Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that the business architecture meets the customer's needs
  • Monitor the performance of the applications and make necessary changes
  • Bring company databases, legacy software, and online services together
  • Troubleshoot application problems, code errors, and bottlenecks
  • Perform system performance tests
  • Keep the privacy of all system programs intact
