About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Pega Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The Pega Developer designs, builds, and maintains enterprise-grade case management and workflow solutions using the Pega Platform to support complex financial applications and operational processes. This role leverages Pega's low-code capabilities, business process management (BPM), decisioning, and integration frameworks to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions across distributed environments. This position ensures smooth deployment, configuration, and operation of Pega applications across Windows and Linux platforms while supporting continuous integration and Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong hands-on experience developing applications on the Pega Platform (PRPC)
  • Experience designing case management workflows, data models, and business rules in Pega
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts and Java fundamentals (for Pega rule customization and extensions)
  • Experience integrating Pega with external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases including Oracle and SQL query optimization
  • Understanding of web application architecture and multi-tier enterprise systems
  • Experience deploying applications on Windows and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) or marketing/decisioning frameworks
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of Pega performance tuning, node clustering, and high-availability configurations

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable case management solutions using Pega PRPC (Pega Platform)
  • Configure and customize Pega applications including case types, data models, UI sections, flows, activities, and decision rules
  • Build and manage integrations between Pega and external systems using REST/SOAP services, messaging queues, and APIs
  • Design business workflows, service-level agreements (SLAs), and routing rules to support complex enterprise financial processes
  • Develop and optimize Pega data pages, report definitions, and database interactions with Oracle and other enterprise databases
  • Implement declarative rules, decision tables, and business logic aligned with enterprise requirements
  • Customize user interfaces using Pega UI frameworks (Sections, Harnesses, Portals, and Theme Cosmos/Constellation)
  • Support performance tuning, clipboard analysis, and system optimization to ensure high availability and scalability
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to translate business requirements into technical Pega solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and guardrail compliance to maintain high-quality Pega implementations
  • Deploy, configure, and support Pega applications in development, QA, and production environments across Windows and Linux servers
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell to support deployment, monitoring, and operational activities
  • Support CI/CD pipelines integrating Pega deployments with tools such as Jenkins and other enterprise automation platforms
  • Troubleshoot end-to-end application flow including integration, database connectivity, and UI performance issues
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and operational procedures for cross-team collaboration
