About The Position

The Tutor is responsible for providing tutoring sessions via Zoom or in-person, to assist students in achieving academic success. This role facilitates academic success by offering tutoring sessions to clarify course concepts, review class materials, discuss textbook content, and work through practice problems. The tutor will conduct sessions either in person or via Zoom, on a scheduled or as-needed basis, and will assist with day-to-day tutoring operations while working independently under minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must have received an “A” or be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of one or more math-focused science courses
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships through clear and tactful communication.
• Sound judgment and the ability to resolve problems independently or seek managerial assistance as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive student information.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities
