This Peer Support Specialist role is fully remote and involves engaging with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) to connect with diverse individuals seeking support. Specialists will build empowering peer relationships, offer hope, recovery, and support services by sharing their lived experience through the New Mexico Peer-to-Peer Warmline. The role requires working holidays and weekends, as peer support is needed 365 days a year, with a primary work schedule of 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM Mountain Time. Peer Support Specialists work closely within a unique, structured Warmline environment, participating in ongoing meetings, training, and team building activities. Handling confidential information professionally and maintaining a continued commitment to personal recovery are essential for this role.
