About The Position

The F/ACT Peer Support Specialist is a member of the clinical team dedicated to F/ACT clients. Coordinates services based on daily staffings with other members of the clinical team, provides experience, strength, and hope to individuals, their families, and significant others by sharing their recovery experience and knowledge of the behavioral health system and available community resources to promote recovery and self-improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures required.
  • Certified Peer Support Specialist certification.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in the Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field preferred.
