About The Position
Serves as peer support for individuals in recovery from a mental health condition, substance use disorder, or both and connects them to resources to support recovery.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED completion
- Must have a valid Indiana Drivers license
- Must show proof of car insurance
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Certification of peer support for recovery within six months of employment for the following departments: PBHI Grants requiring certification, Assertive Community Treatment, SAMHSA-CCBHC and crisis teams
- Must have shared experiences of those they serve
Nice To Haves
- Preferably have 2 years of experience working in the community settings connecting with clients face to face
