About The Position
Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We’re hiring a full-time Peer Support Specialist, to join us at our Crisis Services facility at 1310 Chinook Lane and Respite at 41 Montebello in Pueblo. SHIFT: Monday -Thursday 8pm -6am
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Peer Support Professional Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Personal knowledge of and experience with behavioral health services
- Valid Colorado driver license and access to reliable transportation during work hours
- Good driving record
- Must already be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships not available

Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals seeking crisis services in respite and the crisis living room
- Support clients by offering them information and hope
- Reassure clients through active listening and consultation
- Locate resources and make referrals to community partners
- Transport clients as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
