About The Position

In this entry level management position and under direct supervision of the Clinical Director or Administrator, the Peer Recovery Team Lead supervises multidisciplinary teams, coordinates service needs, and collaborates with other services and agencies. The Peer Recovery Team Lead completes assessments and determines the appropriate level of services for new members served.

Requirements

California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment. Failure to obtain certification within this period will result in separation with the company.
Three (3) years of experience or part-time equivalent supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges
For Los Angeles County CRTs experience must be three (3) years or part-time equivalent of experience supporting individuals with mental disabilities
Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment

If the position requires driving, valid driver’s license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
